TOKYO – Artiza Networks joined over 100 other partner organizations and members of the Fifth Generation Mobile Communication Promotion Forum (5GMF) to participate in high-level technical discussions about 5G development in Japan and around the world. Artiza will also contribute its expertise in testing and monitoring LTE base stations to the ongoing 5G trials planned by the 5GMF and its members. The new partnership will benefit both Artiza and the other 5GMF members as they work together to accelerate the progress of new technologies, products, and services related to mobile networks.

One of Artiza’s specialties for testing current LTE-A network equipment is its ability to simulate thousands of connected mobile devices across a huge number of cells, making it possible to create Centralized/Cloud-RAN network environments in a lab setting. Supporting such enormous capacities will be a key requirement for next generation networks in order to support the massive connectivity demand of IoT and other 5G network use cases. The stability of Artiza’s product lines while generating immense traffic loads will also aid development of technologies that meet next generation standards for ultra-reliability, ultra-low latency, and increased data rates.

Members of the 5GMF conduct research and develop products that span the full range of network technology required to advance mobile networks. As a 5GMF member, Artiza aims to combine its experience and resources with those of other leading telecommunication companies and organizations to help drive development of the future of mobile communication.

About 5GMF
The 5GMF was founded on September 30, 2014. The objectives of the 5GMF are to conduct research and development concerning fifth generation mobile communications systems and research and study pertaining to standardization thereof. It also acts as a liaison and coordinates with related organizations, collecting information and promoting education and awareness about fifth generation mobile communications systems aimed at the early realization thereof, thereby contributing to the sound development of the use of telecommunications. http://5gmf.jp/en/
